We loved working with Leslie for our recent wedding. She was extremely professional and friendly. She was so responsive through the planning process. She helped my husband and I create a ceremony that was so personal. She really took the time to get to know us and create a ceremony that we loved. By the time the process was over, we felt like she was a part of our family. After the ceremony we received many compliments from our guests, they were so impressed with the ceremony. Leslie was lovely, classy - from my very first on-line inquiry. In fact, talking to her was the reassurance my partner and I needed to go ahead with our plans to fly from SLC to Boston to be married. And we ended up pleased in every way. Leslie is sweet and gracious - a perfect lady - and is genuinely interested in the friends she cultivates doing her job. She had great recommendations for us, even did some of the footwork for us, made a few calls, etc. - certainly not what you might expect of a run-of-the-mill officiant. And then to top it all off, her ceremony words captured us and our feelings perfectly. Really, she made our day.

We
planned a quick elopement in Boston and Leslie was very flexible to meet
our needs. She was very accommodating and helpful - even willing to help
with our six month old daughter during or after the ceremony so that we
could get some photos of just the two of us! It was down to the day of
the ceremony and we still hadn't decided on our vows, but Leslie came
prepared with a script, but was willing to change anything to meet our
needs. It was such a beautiful day in our lives and I am glad that Leslie

Leslie provided the most beautiful ceremony for us. She allowed us to come to her gorgeous home for our quick & secret exchange of vows. We just wanted fast & easy - we weren't picturing romantic but she delivered the sweetest marriage ceremony & then even had made us a wedding cake! The day was such a surprise from how I pictured it - it was like a fairy tale. I will remember it fondly forever. Leslie is professional, loving and fun, fun, fun! I cant wait to get "married" again with our whole family with us this time and we will want Leslie to officiate again. Having
decided at the last minute to try and have our ceremony on our favorite
day of the year, Halloween, we did not truly think that we would find
an officiant who could accommodate us. Then we found Leslie.
She was able to officiate our ceremony with less than a weeks notice
while making it seem as though she had had this planned for months. Leslie
is classy and professional yet her caring and friendly personality make
you feel as though you are being married by a family member. The day could
not have been more perfect and so much of that was in thanks to Leslie.
We cannot even image our day without her!

rarely write consumer reviews, but Leslie Zises' treatment of my wedding
as an elegant piece of performance art calls for the same kind of thoughtful
recommendations that I would normally reserve for my college students
and academic peers.
It all started with our decision to hold a small ceremony at the McMullen
Museum of Art at Boston College in front of an art exhibition related
to the Jesuits' history in East Asia. I am from Asia and teach about Asia
at BC. Both families are Catholic. So we thought that the exhibition of
Asian Catholic art at a BC museum would be the perfect backdrop. Understated
refinement sans overt sentimentality was our preferred style. From our
first contact with Leslie to the wedding was only four days, but Leslie
rose to the challenge with impressive efficiency. Within days she had
prepared a personalized wedding vow that included selections from ancient
Chinese love poetry. Her text was a mixture of essay, poetry, and "secular
sermon" that impart words of wisdom on love and commitment. The writing
was so full of sweetness, beauty, and insights that it moved both of us
to fight back tears. As we sat and listened to her words for the first
time in her stylish mansion in West Newton, we realized that she was not
doing the wedding for money, but for her enjoyment in creating a unique
form of performance art that touches the human heart.
On the day of the wedding, Leslie arrived early, thoughtfully dressed
in Asian-themed clothing. In the quiet, softly lit museum, Leslie worked
her magic as a creator of unforgettable memories. Even though Leslie hardly
knew us personally, that she managed to instantly grasp our taste speaks
not only to her professional experience and conscientious research, but
also to an inborn talent for human connection. Leslie Zises is a masterful

answering my phone call on the first ring. I told her I wanted to plan
a last minute wedding and she was gracious enough to meet with me that
